Quick & Easy Fabric Project- Bella Blvd Fabrics

I've got a quick & easy project up over on the Bella Blvd Blog using their Puppy Park fabric line.
See more photos and the full post HERE.

Each of my kids will have one as part of their Easter gifts.
Then we just need some sun and heat so we can head to the pool to use them!

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun- My Mind's Eye Mini Album

I created this mini album for my local scrapbook store, Heartland Paper Company
using the new "My Girl" collection by My Mind's Eye.  It's a display album, hence the lack of photos.

It's definitely one of my favorite mini albums to date.

I really don't know what to say other than you have to own this collection-
it's cuter than I can put into words.

My Mind's Eye is a master of product design.

Enjoy!

The album is a 6x6 Clear Scraps chipboard album, the twine is Doodlebug's Doodle Twine, cardstock is Bazzill, and the ribbon is seam binding ribbon and velvet rick rack from Heartland Paper Company (not sure of the manufacturer).

See the entire My Mind's Eye My Girl Collection and all of their other fabulous collections HERE.

Doodlebug's New "Stars & Stripes" Collection

I'm am SOOOOO ready for summer!
Popsicles, warm weather, pinwheels and the 4th of July!!!

I love parades, barbeques, and the whole darn thing.

I just love this new collection.  It's perfection.
The little pinwheel is part of the new Mini Pinwheel Kit from Doodlebug.  I didn't even have to cut it out!
I just added a brad to hold the points together and topped it with the included center piece using a Pop Up Glue Dot.

This collection is super versatile too.
I thought it would be great for a little boy birthday card.

The little airplane sticker is just too cute!

Quick & Easy "That's My Boy" Layout- Pebbles

It's "Quick & Easy" week on the Pebbles Blog- and I thought, what's more "Quick & Easy" than creating a layout with several 12" long strips?

Pebbles and their sister companies also do something really cool with their patterned papers-
they print designs on the back of the barcode strip, so when you trim it off, you can use it!

On this layout, the star border and the green/blue stripe border are barcode strips.
Then I just cut several more 12" strips of patterned paper in various widths and placed them on the layout.

Throw a bunch of cute stickers on....

and use some dimensional foam adhesive for interest....
and voila!

You've made yourself a cute layout in under 30 minutes!

All stickers and papers are from the new "Love You More" Pebbles collection.
You can see the entire line HERE.

American Crafts Dear Lizzie Fifth & Frolic Layout

will be debuting in all JoAnn's stores on March 17th!

The line, designed by the incredibly talented Elizabeth Kartchner
features crisp blues, pinks, greens, yellows and airy neutrals with hints of gold.

I've been a huge fan of Fifth & Frolic ever since I first laid eyes on it, and I'm a huge fan of all the Dear Lizzy lines from American Crafts.  They are always soft and lovely, with beautiful images and embellishments.

I was sent some of the beautiful papers in this line, and some of the embellishments. It is an honor to be able to review this line and help promote it's release.

"Three"

This background paper is my favorite of the collection.  I love the colors, the pattern, everything.  It's happy and bold, yet soft.  Can something be bold and soft?  It's beautiful.

The "3" card was cut from a piece of patterned paper, and aren't those brads to die for?
I love that the brad pack has such a great variety of metal and fabric brads in a variety of colors.
The feathers are from a dimensional sticker pack.  There are three sets of feathers in the pack, and they come with the rhinestones and twine already attached!

These cute little hearts were punched from a sheet of POW Glitter paper.  I love this paper because it's got brilliant sparkle, but if you feel it, it's perfectly smooth, and the glitter doesn't come off!
American Crafts is brilliant :)

Here's my favorite brad of the pack.  Isn't it darling?
A lot of the thin border pieces on this layout are from the bar code strip of the patterned paper.
American Crafts and their sister companies always put a pattern on the reverse side of the bar code strip that you can use.
Didn't I already say the word brilliant?  I'll say it again- Brilliant!!

And aren't the little banner pieces too cute?
I'd love to take credit for creating them and stitching on them, but believe it or not they come this way!
They are called Flutterbys and are from the sheet below.  They come punched, you just gently tug and pop the strand out, and they're connected by the string.
Love love these.
