Pebbles National Scrapbook Day Blog Hop!

Pebbles is participating in National Scrapbook Day with a blog hop!  You can see layouts from nearly the entire design team today by starting at their blog and hopping around.

I chose to do a layout using the new "Special Delivery" collection, but with a twist.

I was inspired by the "Daddy's Girl" paper in the collection, which features a five generation genealogy sheet.  I thought it would be so much fun to feature five generations of women in my family, and the light pinks complement the theme.

Keep hopping along for more fun!

National Scrapbook Day- Bella Blvd "All About Me" layout (and blog hop!)

Happy National Scrapbook Day!
Bella Blvd is having an all-day celebration with posts featuring layouts from the entire design team every hour!  Here's mine:

I used a mix of two of Bella Blvd's newest collections:  Summer Squeeze and Sprinkles!
Super fun, graphic, bright and happy collections.

We were asked do create "all about me" layouts, and answer questions about ourselves that you can find on the Bella Blvd blog all day long.

Check out the rest of the fun at bellablvd.typepad.com

Pebbles Baby Girl Layout

Here's another Pebbles "Special Delivery" layout I did this month.  This one uses the baby girl items from the collection.

I added machine stitching around the edges, and cute die-cuts, thickers (with glitter!) and page pebbles.

The little bow clips are darling!

Bella Blvd Fabric Style Crayon Roll

I'm up on the Bella Blvd blog again with another fabric project.  This one your kids will love!

It's a pretty simple project, minus the rick-rack trim, which was so hard for me to get straight for some reason.  I used a tutorial you can see here: http://www.skiptomylou.org/2007/04/25/on-a-roll/

I used a disappearing ink marker to mark my sewing lines between crayons.  It literally disappears in a few hours.  Or you can use the "mark-b-gone" side and it disappears with a dab of water right away.  Love these markers.
